Hesitation Does Not Equal Anti-Vaccination
Expanding on a previous podcast discussing research published in Clinical and Translational Science, Drs. Pearl McElfish and Ramey Moore join moderator Dr. Erica Woodahl to delve into vaccine hesitancy and people classified as “hesitant adopters,” individuals who were wary of the COVID-19 vaccine but did, ultimately, receive at least one dose of the vaccine. Pearl, Ramey, and Erica consider how sources of information, trust in news organizations and the government, and factors such as age, race, and ethnicity are interwoven into people’s personal decisions about whether or not to receive a COVID vaccine.
Your can read Pearl and Ramey’s published work in the Wiley Online Library, as well as the paper under discussion in the previous podcast linked above.
